The Effects of Aging in Adult Learning

The purpose for this study was to research and synthesize the problems associated with learning a second language in adulthood.  The foundation of this work integrates the works of David Singleton, and Lisa Ryan in their work "Language Acquisition: The Age Factor" as well as the works of Carmen Munoz on her book "Age and the Rate of Foreign Language Learning" in an effort to create a synthesis, respond to arguments, identify any relations or contradictions in the current research to provide responses, suggestions, and conclusions to solve identified problems.
